We have approximately 7 hectares of land surrounding our farmhouse, currently a little over 3 ha is planted with vines. Untill 2007 our largest crop was Moscato d'Asti, this has now changed as new vineyards we planted on arrival have started to mature and our main crop is now Barbera d'Asti.
Our Barbera d'Asti vineyards are in excess of 2.2 ha (6 acres) and our Moscato d'Asti vineyard is 1 ha (2.5 acres). We make the red wine ourselves. Moscato requires some specialist equipment we do not currently own and so our Moscato d'Asti is made for us in our village by well known winemaker Mario Cossetti.
We work the vineyards by hand ourselves and make every attempt to use natural and eco-friendly techniques to manage our vines.
We keep a vineyard diary which you can read, you can also subscribe to our vineyard newsletter..
