OUR SWIMMING POOL
11 May 2008 - pool now open for the season
The swimming pool measures 11 x 5 metres and is carefully positioned to take maximum advantage of the outstanding views of the local hills and vineyards. On clear days it is possible to view the Alps whilst relaxing in the pool or the spacous pool terrace.
We aim to minimize our impact on the countryside and so we decided to build a salt pool. Please note that this does not mean that the pool tastes of salt, in fact the water is softer and fresher as a by product of the computerised electrolysis cleaning system. There are no chemical smells or stinging of the eyes, altogether a much more pleasant swimming experience.
As part of the pool construction we added a "swim-up" bar. During the summer months guests are welcome to use the bar where we stock a range of soft drinks as well as wines and beers.
We ask guests to proved their own pool towles wherever possible.
For health and safety reasons there are some specific rules relating to use of the pool. All guests are asked to familiarise themselves with these rules and adhere to them as a condition of pool use.
- All guests are requested to shower before entering the pool.
- No diving is allowed.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Absolutely no glass is allowed in the pool and pool compound and seating area (we provide plastic glasses for the use of guests).
