Visit Craft fairs and folk markets
It is almost impossible to visit Piedmont without stumbling across a market or craft fair. This is a great area for arts and crafts with thousands of artists and small family business producing a wide range of unique hand made items reflecting the history and culture of Astesana and the Piemonte region.
From early spring till late autumn every weeeknd will see several festival and craft events dotted around the Piedmont in small or large towns and villages, many coinciding with a food or wine festival (or both). Each year we publish a calander of events that is indicative of what is on at any given time, in truth there are many more events and local festivals which we just have not discovered yet.
